New Discount Drug Cards For USL&H Policyholders With No Prescription Drug Card

In early May, USL&H will be mailing out a new 100% Copay Discount Drug Card to thousands of policyholders. This new card, which will be sent directly from Caremark, is only being delivered to USL&H policyholders that do not currently have a prescription drug card.

It is important to remind your clients that using this card to receive a discounted price on prescription drugs does not necessarily mean that those drugs will be covered by their insurance plan. Your client should review their certificate or contact a member of our Policy Holder Services Department to determine whether or not prescription drugs are eligible for reimbursement under their plan.

In accordance with this change, USL&H will begin issuing a 100% Copay Discount Drug Card on new business policies. Once again, the discount card will only issue with HSA-Qualified plans and other health plans where a prescription drug card is not selected.
